We designed this house, a conceptual project, for a family with two children.

Although spacious, this house is single-story. The challenge was therefore to create a space where the living area and the bedrooms were clearly separated, allowing the living area to be enjoyed without disturbing the occupants of the bedrooms.

Our main objective was to design this house to suit family life. This involved making it comfortable to live in, but also considering their daily use of the spaces to ensure a smooth flow in their daily routines.

In the kitchen, on one side, there's an island with seating, perfect for a quick breakfast or for helping the person cooking. On the other side, there's a table where the whole family can gather for dinner.

But we placed the heart of the house in the living room. Featuring large bay windows that open onto the garden, flooding the living room with natural light and creating a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors, this has allowed us to create a space that will be used by both young and old members of the household.
